SuiteYield was founded by James Plume, who has over 15 years experience in the hospitality consulting business. He began his career with Intercontinental Hotels group, moving to the Distribution Services Help Desk, providing support to over 150 properties in Asia Pacific. He then began his role as the Revenue Manager for Holiday Inn Darling Harbor.
James went on to hold several senior positions in revenue management. He has improved the revenue and yield for hotels, resorts, pubs, apartments, and caravan parks. He was directly responsible for budgets of $50 million dollars and distributions of 5,000 plus. He held numerous revenue management positions, including Director of Revenue for Swissotel Sydney and Pan Pacific Hotels to, more recently, Group Revenue Manager for Aspen Holiday Parks.
During his time as Area Revenue Manager for Pacific International Apartments, James gained a wealth of knowledge on apartment strategy and what people expect from serviced apartments. He incorporated this into SuiteYield, improving revenue for apartment complexes globally.
He decided to use that expertise in yield management to create SuiteYield, a company based in Australia, serving the hospitality industry worldwide.
